cPanel is currently seeking a self-disciplined individual for our Quality Assurance Department.

Qualifications:

• US work eligibility
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
• Experience with the Linux and FreeBSD operating systems
  
• Working knowledge of various package management systems such as RPM and Ports
  
• Experience with configuring, troubleshooting and administrating:
  
  • Apache
    
  • BIND
    
  • Exim
    
  • MySQL
    
  • OpenSSL
    
  • PostgreSQL
    
  • PureFTPd
    
    • and like services as used in a web hosting environment
• Test planning and writing
  
• Experience with Perl, Shell scripting and software debugging
  
• Software Quality Assurance background a plus

Special consideration will be given to candidates with the following:

• cPanel product experience
  
• Experience with software development practices and tools
  
• Experience with TAP, Selenium or Test::* Perl Modules

Job Duties:

• Prepare ad hoc reports for management and company executives
  
• Assist other employes with problem analysis
  
• Perform stress and loading testing in various configurations and environments
  
• Coordinate with various departments on product development and issue resolution
  
• Create various manual and automated tests
• Work with customers in issue analysis and resolution
  
• Other duties as assigned
