Bi-Lingual *NIX Technical Support Representative (English, Spanish)
Location: Houston, TX 77098
Length: Full-time, Employee
Pay rate: Salary contingent with experience
Open Shifts: 11PM- 7:30AM, 7AM- 3:30PM, 3PM- 11:30PM
Travel required: 10%
Telecommute: Possible
cPanel is currently looking for driven individuals to be part of our technical support team.
Qualifications:
- US work eligibility
- Familiarity with rpm based *nix distributions (RedHat, Fedora, CentOS, etc)
- Familiarity with ports based Operating Systems (FreeBSD)
- Configuration and troubleshooting of:
- Apache
- BIND
- Exim
- MySQL
- OpenSSL
- PostgreSQL
- PureFTPd
** Bi-Lingual (English, Spanish) Required
Special consideration will be given to candidates with the following skills:
- Configuration and troubleshooting of:
- cPanel
- WHM
- Customer service experience
- WebHosting experience
Job Duties:
- Answering customer questions / requests through our ticketing and phone systems
- Troubleshooting software issues and providing solutions
- Documenting repeated issues
- Coordinating with management and other departments to share knowledge
